This Privacy Policy describes how ClawDigital Media, LLC ("ClawDigital", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you access our TikTok automation pipeline, related APIs, dashboards, or websites located at clawdigitalmedia.com (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information we collect
- Business account details. Contact name, company name, email address, and support correspondence gathered during onboarding.
- TikTok data. Public profile identifiers, video metadata, analytics metrics, media upload status, and OAuth tokens necessary to perform the actions you authorize. We only request scopes that are explicitly approved inside TikTok Developer Console.
- Operational telemetry. IP address, user agent, timestamps, and diagnostic logs captured when you interact with our dashboards or callback endpoint (
/oauth/callback). - WhatsApp/notification data. Message routing metadata created when you choose to mirror TikTok events to WhatsApp or other third-party systems.
2. How we use information
- Authenticate you with TikTok via OAuth, maintain session state, and exchange authorization codes for access tokens.
- Deliver the automation pipeline functions you request (e.g., ingesting TikTok leads, scheduling posts, pushing alerts to WhatsApp or email).
- Monitor abuse, debug failed jobs, and comply with TikTok Platform Policies, including maintaining audit logs for at least 30 days.
- Provide customer support, billing, security notifications, and product updates.
3. Legal basis
We process personal data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations (such as responding to lawful requests), and to pursue our legitimate interest in securing the Services. Where required, we obtain your consent before enabling optional integrations.
4. Sharing and disclosure
- Service providers. Cloud hosting (Netlify, AWS), observability, and secure secret storage vendors that process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
- Platform partners. TikTok, Meta/WhatsApp, and any other platform you explicitly connect. Data is shared strictly to execute the automation you approved.
- Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users.
We never sell personal data.
5. Data retention & security
- Authorization codes and tokens are encrypted at rest and rotated according to TikTok’s security requirements.
- Operational logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days unless longer retention is needed for incident response.
- You may request deletion of customer data at any time; we erase production data within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
- We follow least-privilege access, MFA for internal consoles, and continuous monitoring for anomalous activity.
6. International transfers
Our infrastructure is currently hosted in the United States. If you access the Services from other regions, you consent to transferring your information to the U.S. or any location where we or our subprocessors maintain facilities.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access & portability. Request a copy of the TikTok or automation data we process on your behalf.
- Correction & deletion. Ask us to correct inaccurate information or delete data that we no longer need.
- Consent withdrawal. Disconnect the TikTok integration at any time inside TikTok Business Center or by emailing support; we will revoke tokens immediately.
- Opt-out of marketing. Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or contact us to be removed.
8. Children’s data
Our Services are business-to-business tools and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. We will post the revised policy online with a new effective date and notify customers of material updates via email.
